Fried Scotch egg

This is my second scotch egg recipe here. I baked the first one and this time l deep fried them. Baking them will be good for people who don’t need too much oil in their diet.

INGREDIENTS:

  • I kg of pork sausage
  • 1/2 kg mince meat
  • I teaspoon salt
  • 12 hard boiled egg
  • 1 cup of crispy bread crumb
  • 3 beaten eggs
  • Ginger and garlic paste
  • 1 bouillon cube
  • 1 onion.
  • Vegetable oil.

METHOD:

  1. Preheat oven 190C
  2. Boil , peel and keep aside your egg.
  3. Combine mince meat and pork sausages. Marinate with crushed onion, ginger and garlic paste
  4. Roll each egg into your meat by using a protection cling wrap and give it a round ball shape
  5. Coat scotch egg
  6. Dip each into a beaten egg, then coat with bread crumbs to cover completely.
  7. Deep fry in vegetable oil with medium heat until done.
  8. Serve with some salad.
